$20 Challenge Update

April 1st, 2007 at 07:24 pm

Well, I've been putting some books up on Half.com and have sold six of them for payments totalling $89.29 (minus the extra cost of shipping). I think I'm going to have to up my prices on the coffee table books as the reimbursement for shipping is about half of what it costs me to send them out. The books cost me about $7 to purchase initially. (I LUV Goodwill, although they've now doubled their prices on books here Frown ) The current profit, *drum roll* $82.29. Smile

I really do have way too many books. The plan is to put more up on Half today and a couple of things up on Ebay. I'd like to be over $100 by the end of April.

Good job ... And I'm sorry to change the subject but I've been wondering how the beautiful Princess is doing?

Littlemama, I sell mainly non-fiction books from my "collection". I'm a book-a-holic and just luv books of all kinds. So far it's an eclectic collection I've sold one of each: cookbook, vintage science fiction, native american medicine cards, organic chemistry study cards, Toyota repair manual, and a coffee table book by a photographer. See, very eclectic!

scfr, Princess just went in for the operation today. Frown I told them how she came up lame on the other leg this weekend. When they did the x-rays they found out she's blown out BOTH knees. Frown I'll be posting an update on it all in a bit. Thank you so much for your concern. I've been a blubbering idiot today because of it all.
